Exzellent is an education company in Cottbus. We teach German from A1 to C2 with native and expert teachers, then the skills and the career support to go with it: one path, language, then skills, then the job.
An operating company with several branches.
At the centre is a learning ecosystem for German: live classes with a teacher who knows your name, a placement test that is free, takes about ten minutes and needs no account, and Exzi, the AI companion that helps between classes and does not replace your teacher. Around it sit the studios and services the same team runs for businesses, founders, expats and the community. Cohorts run online, in Cottbus and in Berlin.

Skilled people who cannot get in on one side, employers who cannot fill the roles on the other. We work on both sides of it, so that the first German word leads to the first job, and nobody has to leave and find the next school on the way.

Numbers are published when they are real. The live member count on the home page comes from the platform; nothing on this page is a projection.
Two ways in, and they are not the same conversation.
Exzellent is open to funding, strategic support and partnership conversations. Some people want to put money into the company; some want to put their name, their room, their network or an afternoon a month into it. Both are welcome, and they are different conversations.
If you want to invest
What we send you: a short written state of the business, traction, revenue, burn and the things that are not working. What we ask for: patience and a view, in that order.
If you want to give something other than money
Mentoring, space, introductions, or a standard we should be measured against. Every one of these appears in the ledger of what we were given first.
